Hi there!
Welcome, new and old Brumbletide readers. If you have found this page because of one of my notes, you have made it to the end of Brumbletide and the Golden Blood Warmouth and have come to see “what’s next?” If you have found this page and have not already read the current series, this page is for you too! This explanation will be helpful no matter where you’re at in your Brumbletide reading journey.
First things first, THANK YOU for reading! I cannot thank you enough for taking this adventure with Maggie and me. It is so special to be able to share this world with readers who get it. A million times over, thank you.
Now, if you are unaware, there is currently a Brumbletide series of six books that look like this…

Golden Blood Warmouth is missing. Here it is.

This set isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it will have a seventh book added to it after I write the other Brumbletide series. Confused? Hang in there.
When I was three quarters through Golden Blood Warmouth it occurred to me there was so much more of the story that needed to be told before I’d be able to write the seventh book. That is when I decided that I would write Brumbletide all over again in third person with loads more details added. Two accounts of the same story capped with a one *seventh* book to cap off both sets.
The first book in the second account is Brumbletide and the Ironsnout Dragon. Behold!

Whether or not you have already read the first-person account told by Maggie, you will find a whole new magical world in Ironsnout Dragon and its sequels. If you are a parent and found Daughter of Eve a little too edgy for your liking, you will be pleased to know Ironsnout Dragon is a solid middle grade novel, appropriate for children 8-12 (and on!)
So, if you have already read the six published Brumbletide books, know there is much more to come! If Ironsnout Dragon is your first step into the Brumble world, you have the choice to wait for its sequels, or go ahead and read the existing series for a glimpse of what’s ahead. Just know that account will be a little different and is only about half of the overall story.
Choose your own reading adventure, and enjoy!
I would love to hear from you! Follow J. Reese Bradley on Instagram, Facebook, or X and be sure to reach and tell me your thoughts on the series so far. Stay magical, and be blessed!
All my best,
J. Reese Bradley
